A “Photography has been both my passion and my full-time career since 2008. Over the past 10+ years, I have been honored to capture 200+ unique and wonderful weddings in the greater Austin area.

I shoot with Nikon professional cameras and only the highest quality lenses. During a wedding, I’ll have two cameras (with me at all times), multiple lenses (including backups for just in case), and on-camera and off-camera lights (for transitioning to night photography.) The lenses I use are for a large range of focal lengths so that no matter the situation, you can trust I’ve got it covered.

I do not, BUT I do know some talented videographers that I can recommend to you!

Every wedding is different, but I typically deliver anywhere from 400 to 800 images. You can expect around 70 images per hour of coverage.

Your gallery will include about 40 to 80 of your best shots (for full sessions.)

Following the wedding / session I transfer your files to my computer and make several backups of them one of which is kept off site. Needless to say, I’ve got you covered as best I can!

You can print and reproduce your images for personal use as much as you want. The only no-no is selling them for profit or publishing them without my written consent. Just ask!

Because each image is hand-selected and edited to tell your wedding day story, the process takes some time. Typically, you’ll be able to see your wedding photos in 4 to 10 weeks. If it’s a portrait session, the wait is shorter: 2 to 4 weeks. Once they’re ready, you’ll receive your images in a beautiful password-protected online gallery where you can then download them and order your heirloom albums or other products.

In a hurry? Rush services are available for an additional fee.

In the very rare event that I am unable to photograph on the day of your wedding, I will do my best to arrange for another photographer from my extensive network to come to my rescue (with your approval of course)! I will do everything in my power to be there, but if the unexpected happens, rest assured every effort will be made to ensure you have stunning wedding photography to look back on. If no replacement is found, I will offer a full refund.

Please complete this contact form to see if your date is available. If it is, yay! We’ll schedule a discovery call, so I can answer any questions you might have that are not covered in these FAQs. If everything sounds good and we’re a fit, your electronically signed contract and non-refundable retainer fee of 50% will reserve your date. Once you’re officially on the calendar, my work begins. The remaining 50% will be due 4 weeks before your wedding. Payment plans are also available if needed.

No two photographers are ever alike. We differ in style, in our focus, and in the depth of our dedication. My style is known for being a unique blend of creative and classic. I like to think of it as the uncommon place where modern meets timeless, a place where the focus is squarely placed on the love and connection you experience in a given moment.

But even more than that - I am committed to providing an unparalleled experience for my clients- at their wedding, in their initial session, and beyond. I am here for you, through every stage of life and for whatever the next chapter holds. This is the experience I offer, and it is what sets my work apart from the rest. I invite you to see it for yourself.

Yes! Weddings are just the beginning. Truly. Although I specialize in wedding photography, I love continuing to be a part of every milestone that follows your big day. And as an entrepreneur, I love helping other business owners increase their like/know/trust factor with compelling brand photography. Feel free to contact me for family sessions, senior portraits, solo portraits, maternity, birth, newborn, and my personal favorite, boudoir! If it’s a moment you want to preserve or heighten, I can help.

Brand photography is more than headshots - and it’s more than photos of your product. It’s behind-the-scenes; it’s your team in action. It’s compelling, connective and the kinds of images that build that elusive like/know/trust factor with the people you most want to serve through your business.

The French word “boudoir” refers to a woman’s private space, the room where she can become her truest self and feel empowered by her own sexuality. In keeping true to that meaning, boudoir photography captures the beauty of a woman in a uniquely intimate way. Your boudoir session is a chance to feel pampered, don lingerie, exude sensuality, and celebrate your body.

But the important thing to remember about boudoir photography is that it doesn’t have to be done for the man in your life. Try doing it for yourself. Book a boudoir photography session to celebrate a journey of self-love, get a boost in confidence, or just feel like a supermodel for a day.

Birth photography documents the intimacy, expectation, and raw emotions that come with the arrival of a baby. Whether you have your baby at home, in a hospital, or at a birthing center, it is my job as your birth photographer to function as a fly on the wall, capturing the moments you’ll never regret saving.

To me, birth photography is the most emotionally charged kind of photography. Birth is inherently a transformative experience, leaving everyone in the room - this photographer included - changed forever.

The short answer? No. But trust me on this: You don’t really want that. I usually take as many pictures of the same pose as I need to get the perfect shot (and thanks to the beauty of digital photography, that number for me is limitless). The ones that make it into your final gallery are the best ones - the ones that meet my high standards for image quality. You don’t have to sift endlessly through duplicates, blinks, blurs, and wrong exposures. I do that hard work for you. This way, you get all of the best pictures and none of the headaches of finding them.

You don’t have to do any heavy lifting! I actually pick all the photos and design your heirloom album for you. Once it’s ready (usually 3-5 months after the wedding gallery has been sent out), we’ll have a Zoom call to review the design, make any necessary changes, pick covers, and more. Once approved, we send it off to the lab, and your heirloom is mailed directly to you about a week later. It is a completely stress-free process!

Identical heirloom albums (for your parents, for instance) are available at discounted prices.

This is completely up to you! It can be a sweet and simple shoot at your favorite location, a stylized and formal shoot at an upscale place, or an everyday place that reflects your interests and passions.

Here are some questions to help you decide: Are there any places that are significant to you? Do you like nature or do you prefer an urban scene? Is there a favorite place where you go frequently on dates? What about where you went for your first date? Maybe where the proposal took place? All of these can be fun locations for a shoot! If you still can’t decide, let me know and I’ll be happy to recommend some great locations.

Yes, and there are a lot of benefits to having a bridal session beyond really beautiful pictures. A bridal session is a unique opportunity to have a full trial run of your hair, makeup, jewelry selection, dress, the works! Bridal sessions typically take place a few weeks before your wedding and give you a chance to re-think any modifications you might want to make to your overall look.

Unable to fit another session into your busy pre-wedding schedule? The good news is I will still be taking photos of just you on the wedding day, so you’ll get some bridal portraits anyway.

The choice is entirely up to you. When you book your wedding, you have the option of hiring me or adding on a second photographer. A second photographer is recommended - not required - because they'll also act as an assistant to me and help ease the overall flow of your wedding photography.

And there are some specific instances to consider where a second photographer can be more than beneficial:
  • To capture the two of you getting ready in two different places
  • To get different angles of the same scene during the wedding.
  • To capture cocktail hour immediately after the wedding while the I capture formals of the family and bridal party

Absolutely! All my second photographers come from a select group of professional photographers who work with me frequently.
A “first look” is the moment when you first see each other on your wedding day. You’ve probably seen plenty of “first looks” on Instagram and TikTok. Traditionally, the first look happened as the bride walked down the aisle. But today - for a whole lot of reasons - “first looks” have begun happening before the wedding ceremony takes place.

For one, when your “first look” doesn’t happen in front of everyone you know, you can laugh, cry, kiss freely and without being stared at. It’s a private moment that will help calm your nerves in incredible ways. For another, it’s easier for the photographer to capture you both, rather than from the front and end of the aisle. And as a bonus, you get more (and dare I say, better) pictures together! There’s a reason pre-wedding “first looks” are over social media. They make for some of the most emotional, fun, relaxed, happy wedding photos of the two of you.

Allot 1-1.5 hrs of your day’s timeline to post-wedding photos. If you have a big extended family, more time may be needed. Ideally, half of the time is spent on group photos, while the other half is devoted to photos of just the two of you. Because the “just married” pictures of the two of you are so important, it’s a good idea to allow for ample time where you won’t feel rushed to get to the reception.
