It was all smiles and charm at Virginia and Brandon’s wedding at Old Glory Ranch. This sight is nothing new for a couple who knows how to enjoy life. They knew they wanted to get married within two months of knowing one another and knew that they wanted their wedding to have a “simple but classic look”. So, that is exactly what they did. Surrounded by their friends and family, Virginia and Brandon celebrated their love in the Texas Hill Country until a grand fireworks display saw them off for the first time as husband and wife.

How and when did you two meet? When did you know he/she was “the one”?

Match.com; we both knew within the first 2 months of dating

Do you have a super romantic proposal story or engagement memory?

We got engaged on the back porch, eating our favorite meal, and drinking beer 🙂 It was the best surprise.

Tell us about your wedding style. When you sat down to really figure out how your dream wedding would look, did you start with one central color, a palette of colors, or a theme that served as your inspiration?

We wanted a simple but classic look. Our main colors were cream, light blue, and rose gold because our wedding rings are rose gold. We also uses a lot of greenery to keep a classic but natural vibe.

What did you enjoy most about the process of planning your wedding?

We both truly loved picking out the music for our wedding. We got to express ourselves through song choices and also take some trips down memory lane.

Looking back, was there a really special moment that you remember from your wedding that stands out as the most magical?

The speech from the father of the bride and from the groom’s brother sticks out the most to us. Very meaningful and beautiful moments.

Did you have a special song that you danced to as your first dance? How did you choose it?

“I love the way you love me” by John Michael Montgomery. We chose this song because there are all kinds of things we love about each other but ultimately it’s how we love and care for one another that we always want to remember.

Do you have any tips for couples planning their wedding?

Have fun and know that this time only happens once and it flies by so soak it up and cherish every second of it.

Are you happy with your photos from Svetlana?

We are beyond thankful for the work that Sveltana Photography provided for us. Now we will always have the beautiful memories of our day from start to finish. It’s not until after the day that you realize how precious the pictures truly are.

What are your day jobs/hobbies?

Brandon owns a plumbing construction company and Virginia is a nurse.
