INDIAN WEDDING BASH AT LOST PINES RESORT | PART 2 | AUSTIN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

After a fun-filled first day of celebratory preparation perfectly executed by Glitzzy Events, the bride and groom became husband and wife in a traditional fashion. After all ceremonies were performed, the newlyweds celebrated in style with their family and friends at an upscale reception. It was a fun night for all! Both the wedding ceremony and reception party took place at The Hyatt Lost Pines Resort near Austin, TX.

The Punjabi bride is always a beautiful sight to behold, she comes embellished from head to toe in a traditional red and gold lehenga and matching dupatta,

I love this tender moment between mom and daughter so much!

After the first look it was time for the Baraat ceremony, one of my favorites! Baraat is a festive procession of the groom and his friends and family to the wedding ceremony complete with live music and lots of dancing. At the end of the Baraat procession, the groom and his family are welcomed and blessed by the bride’s parents.

The bride’s two brothers (front) and cousins (in the back) escort her to the main wedding ceremony carrying a Dupatta that matches her elaborate outfit. Her uncle then meets her at the end and takes her to the altar.

Here, the groom’s relatives have to pay off the bride’s  relatives to get the groom’s shoes back that were “stolen” during the wedding ceremony.

The beautiful meaning behind Vidaai ceremony in Indian weddings will melt your heart.

The vidaai ceremony symbolises the final stage of the wedding, where the bride’s parents bid farewell to their daughter with their son-in-law. The special significance of the ceremony lies in the fact that it is marked by both emotions of happiness and sorrow.

The pain of being separated from their child makes their eyes well up with tears. The same emotions are witnessed by the bride as well, as she hugs her parents and touches the feet of the elderly relatives as a gesture of seeking their blessings for her new life.Vidaai is a bittersweet moment for the bride and her family. The joys of the new life are surrounded by the tears of leaving her parent’s home. And, after the vidaai ceremony, the bride is welcomed into her new home by the groom’s family through griha pravesh custom, and fun games and celebration.

The newlyweds celebrated in style with their family and friends at an upscale reception. And as always when Glittzy Events, Merveille Floral & Design and Desi Junction DJs come together as a team they create the most lavish reception decor and atmosphere! Just take a look at these images!

This was truly an amazing night of celebration full of excitement, joy and love!!

I wish this sweet couple all the happiness in the world and can’t thank them enough for choosing me to be their wedding photographer, such an honor!
