Destiny weaved its magic, orchestrating their meeting during their very first day of college orientation, an unplanned but fateful encounter that set the stage for their love-filled journey.
Love knows no boundaries, and Beatriz and Luis’ story is a testament to that. She is from Brazil and he is from Venezuela. They crossed paths at the University of Texas in Austin during their Master’s program in 2017, and little did they know that this chance encounter would lead to a heartfelt wedding at picturesque Villa Antonia in the Texas Hill Country.

I had the honor of capturing Latham & Watkins Austin Launch Party, hosted at Austin City Limits Live (ACL Live). This unforgettable event was brought to life by the INNOVATX Events team. It was a masterclass in how to honor and celebrate your colleagues, industry partners, and all who come alongside you. From the lavish event design, to the famous guest chef, to the divine food spread and the talented musicians–it was tempting to get lost in the energy!
Meet Aude and Ryan. I met Aude during Covid through my plant business and from there, we connected for her and Ryan’s engagement session. Everything about this day was magical! They are clearly so in love, gushing with adoration for each other. This is a couple who loves to laugh and have fun, and they happily embraced that throughout their session. This might just be every photographer’s number one tip for great photos: HAVE FUN. It helps so much to relax you and makes you appear more authentic!
I also can’t go without mentioning Aude’s red dress. It absolutely makes her shine and provides a gorgeous pop of color. It completely elevated their photos and would be perfect for Save The Date cards!
I’d love for you to meet Paige and Luke, an adventure-loving couple who met on Semester at Sea in 2014! I had the honor and privilege of helping them capture their elegant wedding at Villa Antonia in Austin, TX, which was just the right choice for them with its stunning views of Texas Hill Country and larger-than-life setting.
There is no such thing as the end of motherhood.
“I was thinking we could do sort of a dress-up with my girls.” This came from Anne Elizabeth, a devoted mother to two fully grown, adult women who would be coming to visit her in the heart of Austin. One lives in another state, the other in another country–both completely independent and brilliant humans all on their own.
