About the wedding
The big oak tree was our inspiration as trees are a symbolic to wisdom, strength and eternal life. We wanted something private, simple and wanted to make the day just about our small family. 4.0 Cellars in Fredicksburg was the perfect spot for us and accommodated our family with flexibility and care.
We exchanged traditional vows under a beautiful tree with a brief few minutes of private vows. Our two year old son was part of the ceremony and he had his special red ring that we put on his finger after we exchanged the rings.
After the ceremony and pictures my husband and I did a wine and cheese pairing. Our son had milk and snacks, and of course some cartoons!
Do you have any tips for couples planning their wedding?
Keep it simple, make it about what’s important for you. Svetlana Photography is amazing. Great shots, easy to work with, friendly, and most importantly beautiful photos to remember for a lifetime.
